Change Me by Wynand Hansen

Wynand Hansen is a singer, songwriter and worship leader from Johannesburg, South Africa, but has been living in the United States for a few years now. He released his first album in 2012, called Jump For Joy. His music style is Christian Contemporary, praise and worship and spiritual motivation. I believe that the album is more praise and worship.

When I listened to Jump For Joy, I think that each song brings a new understanding of God and how we see ourselves in his presence and how he sees us. When I listened to the album I had a tough time choosing a favorite song because every song touched me differently. I chose the second song called “Change Me” because it is the song that spoke to me the most. I have gone through a huge change in my life and I know that in that God is going to change me for the better.

“Change Me” is an up beat praise song. The author is telling us that he is entering the presence of God and giving God the reverence and praise God Almighty deserves. While he is giving God reverence, he is also giving God his problems. The author is asking God to change him and make him a better person, by God living in the author’s heart. While he is waiting he will be singing and giving God praise. He is so excited about this change in him that he is going to sing and shout from the rooftops.
