By Kids, For Kids, His Kids United: Christmas – Exclusive Free Download Only on AMN

There are officially six days left until Dove-Nominated, His Kids United drops their cheery Christmas album. The albums official release date through INGrooves and Capitol Christian will be on October 14th. His Kids United was generous enough to let us offer the Jingle Bells track for a free download through Anchor Music News.

Featuring several jolly tracks like Jingle Bells, His Kids United Christmas is an album of Christian cover songs (in this case Christmas songs) sung by kids, for kids and for their families. Behind this project is Jimmy and Mai Swan. “It’s a blessing, I think being a father helps. Fortunately, I have an amazing team behind me.” says Jimmy Swan in an interview with Shaun Tabatt of Bible Geek Gone Wild. His Kids is captivating more people than you might realize, they were recently nominated for a Dove Award for “Best Kids Album of the Year.”

In addition to the Christmas album, His Kids has released a remix album, “one project that we’re starting is a kids workout DVD with a professional trainer” says Swan to promote a healthy lifestyle, “we have a TV show in development, and we have a magazine that we’re working on.”

Speaking on the Christmas album specifically, there are two well known songs, classic songs and then four original songs that no one has ever heard before. “Those are the ones I’m really excited about, having kids introduce new Christmas music at that level. I cannot wait for everyone to hear them.” You’ll have to pick up the album when it drops next week to find out which tracks he’s talking about. (hint: one of them is the streaming track below)

His Kids United is a really fun project and the dedication of the Swan family and team to provide a healthy lifestyle for kids is

astounding. Furthermore, they are clearly and quickly experiencing a lot of growth, having already been picked up by Dove awards and being placed in family stores such as Lifeway and large departments stores such as Walmart alike; they are growing in strides! I wouldn’t be surprised to see His Kids start to experience future kid artist guests such as Gabe Rockwell or even the kids of popular Christian contemporary artists we know and love today such as Steven Curtis Chapman and Chris Tomlin. It would also be awesome to see popular worship artists such as Kari Jobe start to jump on board with this project. (Especially since they’re both home to Dallas, TX) There’s a lot of room for the Christian community to jump on board and help spread the word of this ministry.

Pick up His Kids United on iTunes or simply walk into your local Family Christian, Lifeway stores or Walmart next week and purchase it there.

  1. Thanks for mentioning my interview with Jimmy. We recorded that earlier this summer at ICRS 2014 in Atlanta.
