Come and Rest Rocks Houston

Come and Rest Band

I had the privilege of covering Come and Rest at Walter’s Downtown.

I had a chance to hang out with the band. They are laid back guys that treated me like family. They are a band hungry to get bigger and won’t stop until that happens. They were recently signed to Equal Vision Records and will be re-releasing “Blacklist” on November 13, 2015.

During the first song they brought a contagious energy. Songs included in their set were “Soap Box” and “Slowburn.”  The vocalist gave a message of hope and had excellent command of the crowd. “Upside Down” was requested by the crowd and was played to perfection.

Come and Rest’s set made me an even bigger fan and will do the same for you. The screaming had a distinct range. The guitars were filled with memorable and catchy breakdowns. The drumming was awesome. This is my breakout band for 2016. Go see this band when they’re in your area.

You can pick up a copy of “Blacklist” here.
