Night Verses – Show Review (Monster Outbreak Tour)

Last Saturday was a special day. My date of the Monster Outbreak Tour was finally here! I’d been waiting for months and it was finally here. After battling hordes of traffic and searching aimlessly for parking, I finally made it to the venue and quickly got in line. As I slowly moved forward in a line that seemed a million people long, I couldn’t help but let my mind wander and worry. I wasn’t sure if I would get inside in time. I wasn’t sure what the crowd would be like. I wasn’t sure what to expect from Night Verses. I had been bingeing their Lift Your Existence album for about two weeks straight. I was ready to see what their live sound would be like. I finally got through the line and into the venue with just a few seconds to spare before Night Verse took the stage. All of my worries were put to bed the second that first note hit my ear drums. The band came out swinging and carried that momentum throughout their entire set. They absolutely killed it. Their energy level was off the charts and the crowd was eating it up. The left everything they had on that stage. As their set came to a finish, I was almost instantly hit with a wave of PCD (Post-concert depression) from their incredible performance. The Outbreak Tour as a whole was easily a 9/10, nearly perfect. Issues, Crown The Empire and One OK Rock each put on a performance of a lifetime. However, in my opinion, Night Verses stole the show. This is a band you should be on the lookout for, and definitely go see them live if you have the chance!

About Jacob Andrew

Jacob Andrew has had a passion for music from a very young age. Noticing a natural talent in keeping a rhythm, Jacob Andrew’s mom enrolled him in drum lessons at age six! As soon as he stepped into that music shop for his first lesson, his passion for music spread like wild fire. A few years after taking drum lessons, Jacob Andrew saved up enough to buy a guitar and started teaching himself to play. Fast forward to now Jacob Andrew can play over 10 different instruments, and is an accomplished singer/song writer!
