Wicked Bears, Wicked Tunes

a0451677697_16_originalSalt Lake City pop punk band, Wicked Bears, recently announced their debut self titled album. The album is to be released April 30th via Hidden Home Records. Anchor Music News got a special preview of the album and it’s definitely something to write about. Almost instantly I was hit with nostalgia. Grab your pogs, koosh balls, and dunkaroos because this band will make you feel all the 90s feels. Their music sounds straight out of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. Their groovy bass lines, multi-part vocal harmonies and good ol’ 90s pop punk guitar riffs make for some wicked tunes. I have to fight back the urge bust out the old Nintendo 64 and get my skateboarding shred on. If you’re a fan of classic pop punk I strongly suggest you check this band and album out. You wont be disappointed.

You can pre-order the album here.

About Jacob Andrew

Jacob Andrew has had a passion for music from a very young age. Noticing a natural talent in keeping a rhythm, Jacob Andrew’s mom enrolled him in drum lessons at age six! As soon as he stepped into that music shop for his first lesson, his passion for music spread like wild fire. A few years after taking drum lessons, Jacob Andrew saved up enough to buy a guitar and started teaching himself to play. Fast forward to now Jacob Andrew can play over 10 different instruments, and is an accomplished singer/song writer!
